How to get more leads from your website

These changes are usually quick, and each can raise the share of visitors who contact you.

1. Say it clearly at the top

Put what you do, where and for whom in the first lines, with a button for the main action.

2. Make it easy to call

Show the phone number at the top of every page, tap to call on phones. Add a short contact form beside it.

3. Speed up the page

Compress large images, remove unneeded plugins and use good hosting. Test on a phone with a normal connection.

4. Show proof near the action

Put a few real reviews, a rating or a photo of finished work close to the contact button.

5. Keep the form short

Name, phone, email and a short message are usually enough.

6. Give people a reason to act now

A free quote, a quick response time or a limited-time offer, if it is genuine.

7. Respond fast

Leads go cold quickly. Reply within minutes if you can, and consider an auto-reply that confirms receipt.

8. Measure it

Track visits, leads and customers each month, so you can see whether a change helped.
